Blood Passages: the creative treatment

Blood Passages is an eight-episode animated series of fifty-minute episodes: dark fantasy, epic mythological drama and supernatural thriller.

On the continent of Alkebulan, foreign empires arrive under ancient laws of hospitality and build an industrial trade in native blood to survive the continent's toxic air. King Kagu, banished from Paradise for his cruelty, unites the mortal tribes in rebellion, is betrayed, and is shipped to the imperial capital of Metropole as a trophy. There he commits the ultimate taboo and becomes the world's first true vampire.

The series pairs 2D painterly and sculpted 3D, with English dialogue infused with Luganda and Swahili. Explore Blood Passages

Kampala, Uganda. Game Jam 2026 has officially launched at the Deep Tech Centre of Excellence, bringing together developers, creatives and industry players in a move to grow Uganda's gaming sector.

The initiative, led by the Science, Technology and Innovation Secretariat (STI) in partnership with Tech Anatomy, EDIC and Arudem, gives young innovators a platform to build, test and showcase game ideas.
